if your theory is that a state invaded by a nuclear neighbor should surrender because of the risk the invader will violate the nuclear taboo if it loses, the logical corollary is that *every state* has to rush to acquire nukes.

.@elonmusk@twitter.com there is a better peace plan.

1. 🇺🇦 liberates its territories. Including the annexed Crimea.

2. 🇷🇺 undergoes demilitarization and mandatory denuclearization so it can no longer threaten others.

3. War criminals go through international tribunal.

Let’s vote?

TIL: The x-systemd.after= mount option in /etc/fstab is useful if a GFS2 filesysten can only be mounted after dlm.service has started.

@mdbooth Guess I have to edit /etc/init.d/rrdcached and remove $remote_fs from Required-Start and Required-Stop there at the source.

@mdbooth TL;DR: I want to mount GFS2 on a Proxmox cluster.

I have to avoid a circular dependency.

Removing After=remote-fs.target from rrdcached.service seems to be the easiest solution.

Why?

GFS2 is recognised as remote FS by systemd (how?), therefor part of remote-fs.target.

But GFS2 can only be mounted after dlm.service has been started. Which depends on corosync.service which has to be started after pve-cluster.service (Proxmox specific) which depends on rrdcached.service, boom. :)

@mdbooth I am sure that it can be removed safely in this case.

It's the automatically generated rrdcached.service (from /etc/init.d/rrdcached) on Debian 11, which has After=remote-fs.target.

This rrdcached instance does not write to remote filesystems.
